How to Organize Batteries

As mentioned above there are several reasons that you will want to have organized batteries. For one you will want to have the batteries that no longer have any energy to them and need to be recycled separate from the ones that you have not been used at all or have only been used a little. Another reason to organize your batteries is to see how many of each kind that you have, so you know if you need to get more and lastly a great reason to organize your batteries is so you will know exactly where to find them at a moments notice. One way that you can organize your batteries is by using battery organizers.

There are some easy steps to take to get your batteries organized. Get all of your batteries together and sort the ones that are usable and the ones you need to recycle. Keep your used batteries in a box or bag temporarily and make a point to take them to a recycling facility as soon as you can. Sort the unused batteries into two categories if you need to, one that have never been used and one that have been used but still have power in them. From here you just need to sort the different types, keeping double A batteries with double A batteries, C batteries with C batteries, etc. Keep your nicely organized batteries in one place that you will be able to access easily, like in a kitchen drawer, when you need to get new batteries.
